Sutapa Biswas

Sutapa began her career in vector control as a seasonal extra-help with us in 2013. She was later promoted to Vector Control Trainee, Vector Ecologist, and temporary Program Manager before being promoted to a Program Manager I in 2023. She has a Bachelor of Science in zoology, a Master of Science in environmental science from India, and a Master of Science in Environmental Studies from San Jose State University. Sutapa decided to join the County as she considers it to be her second home after India. Although she was born and raised there, she has been rewarded innumerably by this county and was excited at the opportunity to serve her community and its residents to the fullest. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, especially planting different types of succulents, traveling, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
