Overview

Steffan joined the Consumer and Environmental Protection Agency (CEPA), who we are a part of, in 2018. Prior to joining CEPA, he worked at the County’s Social Services and Department of Tax and Collection since 2005. In his role as a Department Fiscal Officer, he oversees budgeting, payroll, and accounts payable for us and all CEPA divisions. He was born in Vermont but moved to the Bay Area in 1995. Steffan holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Pheonix and a master's in public administration from National University. He enjoys computer games, reading, and carpentry.
