May - San José - Found in an existing neighborhood that was affected in 2024, near Cortez Avenue and Orlando Drive.

2024
In 2024, Aedes aegypti were found in six different locations. Details about each detection is listed below.
- March - East San José - Found in a neighborhood between Machado Lane and Fleming Avenue, near Story Road.
- September - Gilroy - Found in a neighborhood near Hanna Street and W. 10th Street.
- September - Santa Clara - The initial detection in this neighborhood happened in September 2024, bordering the streets of Agate Drive, Bowers Avenue, Chromite Drive, Monroe Street, and Meadowbrook Drive. As of October 2024, the expansion is within the bordering streets of Agate Drive, Bowers Avenue, Mark Avenue, and Calabazas Boulevard.
- October - San José (near Oak Hill Memorial Park) - Found in a mixed-use area in San José near Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
- October - South San José - Found in a neighborhood around Santa Teresa County Park.
- November - San José - Found in a neighborhood near Cortez Avenue and Orlando Drive.

2022
In 2022, two invasive mosquitoes were detected in a industrial area of San José.
- October - San José - The invasive mosquitoes were found near the intersection of Dixon Landing Road and McCarthy Boulevard in San José. No additional mosquitoes were found besides the two.
